We talk about the ridiculous premise that birthed this banger, hear what Open Mike Eagle had to say about it, reminisce on some classic Chappelle's Show bits, and Cameron shares some of his original, including a freestyle rap over a "Mr Xcitement" sample. 

Adam Goren aka Atom and His Package makes his triumphant return to talk about fan-favorite John Henry track "Destination Moon". We chat about old media that are possible inspirations for John Linnell's lyrics, ponder why it's criminally underplayed, and hear a wide range of awesome covers.

Adam Rivera is back on the show to talk about the obscure fan-favorite Dial-a-Song-only song "No Answer." We attempt to decode the wild lyrics to this tune and discover the love for this song through its many covers. Adam also tells us about his upcoming TMBG covers project They Pay Tribute 3. The whole Leary family-- Dan, Jess and little Cooper-- all join in as we talk about "Choo Choo Express" from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. We get Cooper's thoughts on the track and all of us adults dissect a children's song to great length and have lots of laughs along the way. 

Josiah Aiken-Drake joins us for the first time for one of the deepest of deep cuts, "Turtle Songs of North America". This track appeared on the old TMBG official podcast, and Josiah walks us through its scientific inspiration in detail. John Linnell's silliness is on full display on this "song" and we had a blast talking about it. There are two covers thanks to Noah Daniel and Josiah himself.

It's time for another new The World is to Dig track episode! "Character Flaw" was picked by returning guests Andrew May and Jonathan Leonard as our collective favorite song off of the new album. Listen to us make our case for this banger as we dig into the lyrics, the musical arrangement, the sonics and more. For good measure, we talk a bit about Greg seeing Death Cab for Cutie and talk about their new album with big fan Andrew, and then less fortunately we talk Phish for a bit too, since these jokers are fans of them. We also have a great covers section, which was surprising for such a new tune, including two covers from Covers Crüe members. As a special treat before "Character Flaw," we get a fan-submitted Justice For "Hair Ned" segment and original tune. Yes!

Jack Ferry joins us from across the pond to discuss the Nanobots song "Lost My Mind." We talk at great depth about the meaning of these wet transfer tattoos, the earth being elliptical, and the frustration of being an independent gigging musician. We also get a custom cover from the Crüe!

Chase Roper makes his first appearance on the show to tackle the deep cut "Stormy Pinkness" from the Istanbul (Not Constantinople) EP. We dig into the demo (possibly demos plural?), hear live versions from 1987 an 1989, and ponder why TMBG doesn't realize how much of a fan favorite this is. What the heck does the phrase "stormy pinkness" mean? Did they invent the term Johnny Cup?" We also present an epic covers section for you, including FOUR covers that have direct ties to TMBP events, compilations and Covers Crüe members.
